Virtulane Pty Ltd ("Virtulane," "we," "us," or "our"), based in Canberra, Australia, developed Zombie Breach ("the App") for Meta Quest 3. This policy explains what information the App collects, how it's used, and how you can contact us with questions or requests.
Zombie Breach does not collect, transmit, or store any personally identifiable information. The App has no account system, no login, no network connectivity of its own, and does not communicate with Virtulane's servers or any third party.
The only information the App generates is gameplay statistics, stored locally on your headset:
This data is stored on-device only, using standard local storage provided by the Meta Quest operating system. It never leaves your headset, is never transmitted to Virtulane, and is never shared with any third party.
The App does not access your camera, microphone, contacts, location, or any other device data beyond the headset's standard motion and hand tracking, which is used only in real time to run the game and is not recorded, stored, or transmitted by the App.
Zombie Breach is distributed through the Meta Horizon Store and, as required by Meta for all Store titles, performs a platform entitlement check on launch to confirm you have a valid license to play. This check is handled entirely by Meta's own platform systems, not by Virtulane, and is governed by Meta's own privacy practices rather than this policy.
Meta Horizon OS may also independently collect certain technical or diagnostic data (such as crash reports or performance data) as part of operating the Meta Quest platform generally. This collection happens at the platform level, is outside Virtulane's control, and is separate from anything the Zombie Breach app code itself does. For details on what Meta collects and how it's used, see Meta's Privacy Policy.
Because Virtulane does not receive, collect, or store any information from the App, there is no use, analysis, or processing of user data to describe. Zombie Breach contains no advertising SDKs, no analytics services, and no data-sharing integrations of any kind.
Virtulane does not sell, rent, or share user data with third parties, because none is collected in the first place. The only data-adjacent interaction with a third party is the Meta platform entitlement check described in Section 2, which is between your headset and Meta directly.
Your local gameplay statistics remain on your headset under your own control for as long as the App is installed. You can remove this data at any time by uninstalling Zombie Breach or clearing the app's local storage through your headset's settings.
Because Virtulane holds no server-side copy of any user data, there is nothing on our end to locate or delete on request. If you have questions about this or about your data more generally, contact us using the details in Section 8.
Meta Quest devices are intended for users aged 13 and older. Zombie Breach is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone in that age group — consistent with Section 1, we do not collect personal information from any user regardless of age.
Zombie Breach is distributed globally through the Meta Horizon Store. Regardless of your location, the data practices described in this policy apply equally — no personal information is collected from any user, anywhere. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law (for example, the Australian Privacy Act, or the EU/UK GDPR); given no personal data is collected, these rights have limited practical application here, but you're welcome to contact us with any questions.
